    From the Pastor….

      I just finished reviewing the May newsletter. We are indeed a busy church. From the Piggy Bank bazaar workshops to Worship on Sunday mornings, to our Outreach programs, we continue to share God's love. I am pleased to welcome our new youth group director to our church team – Chelsea Bender. The kick off social gathering is on May 18th. Please see the enclosed article.

      I recently read a daily devotion entitled, "Anticipate Joy". There is much negativity and sorrow in our world right now. However, if we anticipate joy, we welcome God into our daily life. Anticipating Joy can be as simple as enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning while reading a daily devotion, a visit or phone call from a family member or friend, or taking a walk outside and connecting to nature as we celebrate spring.

      "May the God of Hope fill you with all JOY and PEACE in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit" Roman 15: 13.
